A LITTLE ABOUT ME
Brief Bio
Danny Chi-Man Leong is a Macao-based biologist and environmental educator. With an aim to connect people with nature, he dedicates himself to public education, scientific research and discovery. His studies focus on the biodiversity that exists alongside human being and the impact of urbanization on wildlife and the ecosystem. One of his important achievements is the discovery of the Macao tiny ant – a new ant species found in his hometown. To Leong, the discovery demonstrates the abundance of natural wonders awaiting our exploration. Leong is also a storyteller of the environment. He is passionate about fostering empathy for animals and awareness on conservation through effective educational programs, public talks and media interviews. Through these endeavors, he hopes to inspire understanding and appreciation of the important roles of each animal species in the eco-system, and promote an eco-friendly lifestyle that can help achieve a sustainable world for the future generations.
